At home against Union Saint-Gilloise, Malmö FF was 0-0.

Ten minutes into the match, the Belgians opened the scoring, a shot from Teddy Teuma was directed in via MFF defenders behind goalkeeper Ismael Diawara.

The Maltese's second goal in the group stage, the first also came against Malmö.

The midfielder was also involved when the visitors extended.

Three minutes before the half-time break, a couple of counter-attacks around the penalty area gave Saint-Gilloise the ball.

Teuma passed to the Ivorian Jean Lazare Amani who pushed in 2–0.

It was also the final score after a goalless second half.

Victory for Union Saint-Gilloise, who have now secured promotion to the play-offs in the Europa League.

Malmö was already eliminated before, in the last group stage awaits Portuguese Braga who can still advance.

In addition to the conclusion in the Europa League, two Allsvenskan matches remain for Malmö, Varberg away and Degerfors at home.

MFF is seventh in the Allsvenskan.
