Completed preparations for the DB World Paddle Tennis Championships

An inspection tour of the Organizing Committee and the Events Insurance Committee to check on the preparations for the tournament.

The Events Insurance Committee held a coordination meeting with the Organizing Committee for the DB World Cup, to make arrangements for hosting the tournament, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, and organized by the Federation of Emirates Exchange Tennis, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.

The tournament will start on the 31st of this month at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Courts, and will continue until the fifth of next November, with the participation of a selection of the best international teams.

The organizing committee said in a press statement that the meeting was held in the presence of the organizing committee and members of the Events Security Committee from Dubai Police, the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Ambulance, and the General Directorate of Civil Defense, and included a visit to the tournament hosting site to find out the latest security preparations and procedures, and coordination with various partners. From the Dubai Police, the tournament organizing committee and the security company involved in securing the event, in order to determine the comprehensive security, organizational and service measures plan to secure the tournament in all respects, overcome all challenges, and provide appropriate and comfortable conditions for fans to enter and exit the stadiums smoothly and flexibly.

The organizing committee had equipped eight stadiums in Al Garhoud, including the main stadium for the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, which can accommodate about 5,000 fans.

It was also discussed during the meeting to ensure all factors of success, and to achieve the highest standards of safety and security, to contribute to the production of the global event in the best way.
