It was in October 2021 that Lundby, multiple WC medalist and Olympic champion in Pyeongchang 2018, announced that she is over the season - and the Olympics in Beijing.

At the time, she had struggled with major problems after, among other things, having pushed herself to lose weight in order to compete, and needed time to take care of herself and her body.

But now she is back.

The World Cup competition in Wisla will be her first since the World Cup in Oberstdorf in March 2021.

- My goal for the weekend is to get some competition training, get some good jumps and fight for a top 15 position.

I'm not quite where I want to be yet, but I'm very happy to be back and see all the hard work starting to pay off.

All in all, I hope that this is just the beginning of something very good, writes Lundby on Facebook.
