Man United coach confirms Ronaldo will play Sheriff Tiraspol

Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hag confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will participate in the team's Europa League match against Sheriff Tiraspol tomorrow.

Ronaldo, 37, missed the match in which Manchester United drew 1-1 with Chelsea in the English Premier League as a punishment for leaving the stadium against Tottenham last Wednesday, before its end, and refused to participate as a substitute.

Today, Ten Hag said: "Yes, Cristiano will be with the team."

He added, "I think we said everything and answered all the questions. He missed a game and now he's back."

Manchester United will miss the efforts of Raphael Varane against Sheriff and until the World Cup.

The French defender appeared angry when he left Stamford Bridge injured.

"Rafa Varane will not be with the team, so he will definitely miss until the World Cup. He will not play in the defense of Manchester United," said Ten Hag, in statements published by the British news agency "BA Media".

Manchester United, who is second in their group, will book their place in the playoffs if they win or draw, and they can also top the group, which is currently led by Real Sociedad, who has secured qualification.
