Four months after being sacked by FC Lorient, Christophe Pélissier is back in business in Ligue 1. The 57-year-old coach has just been made official this Wednesday by AJ Auxerre as successor to Jean-Marc Furlan on the bench.

He signed a two-year contract (plus one optional) with AJA, currently 18th in Ligue 1.

Christophe Pélissier, who will lead his first training session this Wednesday morning, is accompanied by Jean-Marie Stephanopoli (assistant coach) and Olivier Lagarde (goalkeeping coach) in this new adventure with the promoted Burgundian.

Despite an end to the collaboration tarnished by the episode of the fingers of honor in Clermont, "the club would like to thank Jean-Marc Furlan and all of his technical staff for the work done since their arrival in 2019, symbolized by the come back to Ligue 1 last May”.

It would now be a question of remaining in the elite within seven months.
