Florentino Pérez, successfully operated on a pulmonary nodule

, underwent surgery on Tuesday morning for a nodule in one of his lungs, according to the Marca newspaper.

The intervention, carried out successfully, has taken place at the Puerta de Hierro University Hospital in Majadahonda.

Florentino Pérez was present last Sunday in the box at the Santiago Bernabéu, in Real Madrid's victory against Sevilla (3-1).

Now he must rest for a few days, so he has not accompanied the team to travel to Germany, where this Tuesday they face Leipzig in the fifth day of the Champions League group stage.
