The first national football team is awaiting the drawing of the Arab Gulf Cup for football in its 25th edition, which will be held today in the Iraqi city of Basra, noting that the Football Association participates in the meetings of the Technical Committee with a delegation led by the Secretary-General of the Football Association, Vice-Chairman of the Competitions Committee in the Arab Gulf Cup Federation. , Muhammad Hazam Al Dhaheri, while delegations of teams participating in the Gulf Cup flocked to Basra, to attend the draw ceremony and technical meetings for the tournament.
The Gulf Cup is usually played in a two-group system, with eight teams participating in this edition.
