The last time Lag Edin won a grand slam title was in 2017. So tonight was the time again.
Oskar Eriksson acted as skipper (Niklas Edin was on the sidelines due to a knee injury) and led the team to victory in the Tour Challenge tournament in Grande Pairie.
- It was about time we won another "slam tournament".
We feel that we are good enough, but it is always tough, says Eriksson to the tournament's website.
Team Edin won all seven games and collected the equivalent of SEK 393,000.
- We are happy that we solved it, especially with only three players.
Hopefully, Niklas can be back and play in the next one, says Eriksson.
