The French club Paris Saint-Germain denied what a newspaper claimed that the team's star, Kylian Mbappe, signed a contract that extends until the summer of 2025, which is the most expensive in the history of any athlete, according to which he will earn 630 million euros.

The Paris club considered this news "false", and issued an official statement today, in which it denied these allegations and said: "The club denies these allegations because they came a few hours before an important match in the Champions League, but the club will not be tempted to make further comments."

"Everyone at the club is positively focused on the upcoming Champions League match, which will be played tomorrow," the statement added.

And the French newspaper "Le Parisien" had published an article saying that Mbappe signed a contract that extends until the summer of 2025, which is the most expensive in the history of any athlete, according to which he will earn 630 million euros, instead of moving to Real Madrid.

And the newspaper pointed out that "the contract actually extends for two seasons, with the option of extending for a third season, subject to Mbappe's approval." And it pointed out that the contract did not include any clause related to individual titles or awards, such as the Champions League and the Golden Ball.

And she indicated that "Kylian Mbappe's monthly salary has tripled, to reach 6 million euros (2.7 million euros exclusive of taxes)." The French striker will also receive a signing bonus of 180 million euros, in 3 installments due by next July, provided that he receives Mbappe the full amount "in the event of his departure before the end of the contract."

According to the newspaper, "Saint-Germain also allocated a loyalty bonus to the French international, worth 70 million euros, which he will receive in the summer of next year if he continues with the team, and will increase by 10 million euros for each season he spends with the team."

Mbappe, 23, had confirmed the content of Saint-Germain's statement with statements he made last week in which he confirmed that he had not asked to leave the club, in response to reports linking him to moving to Real Madrid and leaving Saint-Germain in January.

It is noteworthy that Mbappe, who was crowned with the French national team in the 2018 World Cup, signed a new 3-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain last May, after Real Madrid made two official offers to join him.
