During the first round of the ATP tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria, in September, Mikael Ymer shouted to a spectator in the stands.

"I'm earning your annual salary on the track right now.

I don't understand why you play for rent money.

You should seek help.

I'm earning your annual salary right now.

Don't gamble.

Go to a psychologist.

This is not good for you.

I will help you.

I am donating $100.

Don't gamble with rent money,” said Ymer.

Really provoked

The TV production did not pick up what the spectator said in the stands and Mikael Ymer says that he was really provoked to say something like that.

- I was provoked as much as possible, he says.

ATP always goes and removes people who have "begged" but this one had to do it for two hours.

Why would I ever say something like that to a person if they haven't done anything to me?

There were many reactions, which surprised the Swede.

In the interview above, he tells how it felt, and his willingness to dare to talk more openly about money and gambling problems based on the incident in Sofia.
