In the fall of 2011, Henrik Björklund received the message that he no longer placed in the then elite league team Färjestad.

It was a game in the hockey Allsvenskan instead of Karlstadsgrabben, who has made a big impression and been a reliable supplier of both goals and assists during eleven seasons in the hockey Allsvenskan clubs Rögle, Örebro, Troja-Ljungby, Modo and BIK Karlskoga.

Last winter, Björklund also made history as the first player to reach 400 points in the second highest series.

A few months later, parent club Färjestad called and offered a comeback in the top league.

Scored eleven points

Björklund accepted and during the autumn delivered with accuracy even at the highest level.

Henrik Björklund has so far scored eleven points in Färjestad's twelve opening SHL games.

Two of the points came on Saturday when he scored two goals against Brynäs in Gävle, where the 32-year-old opened the scoring (1–0) after just one minute and 27 seconds of the first period.

Aim and crash into the rim

Brynäs coach Mikko Manner realized before the middle act the importance of making a quick reduction for his team to make contact, but it was another quick goal (4–1) by Henrik Björklund instead.

A goal where Björklund first got up to speed and shot and then picked up the rebound at the extended goal line where he finally got the puck in at a much narrower angle than with the first shot.

The goal shooting then ended with a crash straight into the rim.

It didn't look very good and the Färjestads forward lay there and exhaled for a while before, after taking a moment to catch his breath, he was still able to leave the ice on his own machine and also play on in the match.
