Luleå had already convinced after five minutes.

Jenna Pirttijärvi scored the first goal after barely two minutes and Petra Nieminen the second after five - and there the match was actually decided because HV71 would not be able to score a single goal ahead.

But 3–0 then came from Josefine Persson with just over three minutes left in the first and in the second period, Luleå continued on the established line.

Viivi Vainikka made it 4-0 seven minutes before the break.

The third period had barely begun before HV71 gained a numerical advantage of five to three, but Luleå held together even with two men less and ruled out all reduction attempts.

With the four-goal lead unthreatened, the home team could have slowed down offensively, but it would still be one more goal.

Daniela Pejsova found her way behind the goalkeeper and made it 5-0, which became the winning numbers.

It is the team's eleventh straight victory out of a possible eleven.
