According to the player, coach Don Granato, who took over the team last spring, has had a decisive role.

“The way he came in, the things he said and how he made us play a bold game.

And not to think.

That's his key word, go ahead and do your thing, then things will happen.

As long as you try and keep trying, things will get better, Dahlin told nhl.com.

It is not only Dahlin himself who appreciates the change.

The 22-year-old from Trollhättan is praised by both coaches and teammates.

- I will probably never be surprised by what Dahlin can do.

He competes very well and makes an effort between matches.

Already tomorrow morning (the day after the match) he will work hard.

He is relentless in his work ethic, says Granato.

Teammate and forward Alex Tuch:

- The dude's game has recently been "lights out" (a fantastic performance), both offensively and defensively, he says and then continues:

- He is one of the smartest players I have ever played with.

And I don't think he's even close to as good as he can be.
