The two stars of the cycling team, Youssef Mirza and Ahmed Al-Mansoori, won the last gold for the team's mission at the end of today's participation in the Arab Championship in "tracks", which was hosted by the Egyptian capital, Cairo, for 5 days.

The gold medal was crowned in the Madison Olympic race, to keep the team at the forefront of the Arabs in the Olympic track races.

Thus, the total number of UAE medals in the tournament reached 29, with 10 gold, 13 silver and 6 bronze, to put the team in second place behind the Egyptian team with the largest number of participants.

The UAE bikes took second place from Algeria, which it occupied last season.


The closing day witnessed races for young women and the Madison race for men and youth, and resulted in the victory of Youssef Mirza and Ahmed Al-Mansoori from the national team in first place, Egypt in second place and Algeria in third place, to conclude the participation with a greater number of medals compared to last year, which amounted to 28 colored medals in third place overall.
