The former kid from Bondy, in the northern suburbs of Paris, manages at the age of 23 to rise to first place among the highest paid football players in the world.
The PSG striker, and the blues, achieves a double performance: that of dethroning in the Forbes ranking the Argentinian Lionel Messi and the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo by relegating them to third and second places in the ranking.
Ambassador of the brands Nike, Dior, Hublot…
Above all, Kylian Mbappé exceeds the bar of 100 million euros in annual income before his 30th birthday.
An absolute record.
The first time Ronaldo and Messi crossed that earnings threshold, they were at the height of their glory and that was in 2018, when they were 33 and 31 respectively.
For the 2022/2023 season, the football prodigy should therefore receive 128 million dollars, a sum from which agent commissions linked to the various contracts signed must be deducted.
His income consists of 110 million dollars in salary, to which would be added 18 million in endorsements received by the PSG star from his sponsors since he is an ambassador, among others, for the brands Nike, Dior, Oakley, Hublot and Panini.
The ranking of the highest paid players in the world according to Forbes:
1. Mbappe: €128m
2. Messi: €120m
3. Ronaldo: €100m
4. Neymar: €87m
5. Salah: €53m
6. Haaland: €39m
7. Lewandowski: €35m
8. Hazard: €31m
9. Iniesta: €30m
10. De Bruyne: €29m
