Frölunda invests heavily in its newly started women's team and starts in the NDHL, division 1 south.

Malmö, which qualified for the SDHL last year, is seen as the biggest opponent of the ambitious Gothenburg team in the series.

But there was, as expected, a big class difference.

Andra Dalen, who have the scoring record in the SDHL, became the historic first goalscorer in the first period, but it only came off in the second period.

Frölunda then scored five goals in seven minutes and went from 2-0 to 7-0.

In the last period, national team star and Frölunda's team captain Hanna Olsson scored two goals and landed a hat trick.

- Absolutely indescribable what a feeling this is, says Olsson.

Frölunda with new sporting director Kim Martin Hasson has prepared heavily for the debut season.

With superstars from SDHL such as Andrea Dalen, Hanna Olsson and Michelle Karvinen, they are the favorites to take the step up in SDHL already in the first year.
