There were thrilling final minutes when Nässjö took on Umeå in the teams' third game of the season.

The home team started the strongest and were in the lead for most of the match.

But the 50-39 at halftime shrank considerably in the third period and before the last ten minutes of the match the lead was only one point.

Just over two minutes into the final period, Umeå also took the lead for the first time in the match.

Gustav Hansson sank a long second which meant 66-65 for the guests.

The teams were closely followed throughout the final period, and with a minute left in the game the score was 85-85.

First, Nässjö had the chance to take the lead but then went on an offensive foul.

Instead, with 30 seconds left, Umeå had the chance to get into the driver's seat - but Gustav Hansson missed the two-pointer and the match went to overtime.

The decision came with 56 seconds left.

Umeå's Bryan Jefferson missed a shot but took his own rebound and was fouled.

Jefferson was the safety himself from the free throw line, sinking both free throws to give the visitors a 93-90 lead.

When Nässjö missed in the attack after and fouled, it gave Umeå two new penalty throws.

Gustav Hansson pulled in both and extended the lead to 95-90.
