Good “ambience” with the reigning NBA champions!

As the Warriors prepare for the new NBA season, The Athletic has revealed their star Draymond Green punched teammate Jordan Poole during a practice session.

Bob Myers, the general manager of Golden State, did not deny the facts.

He also explained that Green had since apologized to his team and the staff.

“Everyone is fine…Look, it's the NBA…In professional sports, these things happen.

Nobody likes it, we don't excuse it, but it happens,” he added.

Myers still insisted that the build-up to the defending champions' season was going smoothly despite the incident.

"We've been there before"

“It's unfortunate and I'm not going to deny it.

It will take some time to recover, but we will get there.

This is not the first time that we have faced this kind of situation.

We have already been there, ”he said, anxious to play down the situation.

The Golden State Warriors won the seventh title in their history last June, the fourth since 2015 - under the Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green era - by beating the Boston Celtics in the final 4-2.

They will start their quest for a second title in a row on October 18 with the reception of the Los Angeles Lakers.
