The match started tentatively, but it was Timrå who took care of the initiative and who also took the lead after 12.10.

It was Erik Walli-Walterholm who broke a play in the offensive zone and on his own return scored the first goal of the match behind home goalkeeper Gustaf Lindvall.

Shortly afterwards, the great performer of the match presented himself.

Just over a minute after Timrå's lead goal, Skellefteå's team captain Oscar Möller got the chance and pulled a quick wrist shot into the far crossbar behind 39-year-old David Rautio, who made his first game as Timrå goalkeeper.

- Timrå started better, but we turned the game over to us at the end, are hungry for the puck.

It's clear that the legs are sprinkling, it's fun to be on the ice, said Möller, who oversaw the team's away tour last week, to C More.

Show by Möller

This was Skellefteå's eighth game in the last 16 days, including CHL games.

But despite matches every other day, it was the joy of playing and not fatigue that shone around the home team.

The second period was totally dominated by Skellefteå.

In the center was Oscar Möller, who was responsible for a cracking show and also the penultimate goal of the match when he scored 5-2 in the power play.

Among the stunts was one where he juggled his way into a free position.

Möller has now scored six goals in total in the series.

- He is a great hockey player, a good team player who makes all those small smart decisions, Skellefteå's coach Robert Ohlsson praised his team captain.

"Standing and watching"

However, Skellefteå's lead goal to 2–1 was delayed until just before the second halftime break when defender Arvid Lundberg wrangled himself into the mess in front of the goal and pushed the puck in.

- It does not feel good.

We stand and watch and let four of their players stand in front of the goal on their second goal, said Timrås Jonathan Dahlén in the second period break.

Skellefteå kept the pressure and the initiative even in the third period, where a neat triangle game ended with Rickard Hugg setting up 3-1 in the roof of the net from close range.

Timrå was able to reduce on penalties through Robil Hanzl in the middle of the final period, but just 13 seconds later Skellefteå's Joakim Lindström extended the home lead to 4–2 in tennis.

Skellefteå finally won with a clear 6–2 and still tops the SHL table.
