Zamalek star moves to Al Ittihad of Alexandria

Al-Ittihad Club of Alexandria announced the signing of Mahmoud Alaa, the defender of the first football team, in Zamalek, for one season, on loan.

And the Alexandrian Federation said on its official page on the social networking site Facebook on Monday evening that the board of directors continued to strengthen the team’s ranks in preparation for the new season 2022-2023, by completing the contract with international player Mahmoud Alaa, defender of Zamalek club, for a season on loan.

He added, "Mahmoud Alaa has great experience as a distinguished international defender in the Egyptian League, and he is called the top scorer, as he scored 53 goals during his previous career in all the tournaments in which he participated, and he previously represented Haras El Hodoud, Wadi Degla and Zamalek clubs."

He explained: "The player signed a contract to join the ranks of the leader of Al-Thaghr, in the presence of Mohamed Moselhi, the club's president."

And he continued, "The Serbian coach Zoran, the coach of the Al-Ittihad team, welcomed the player Mahmoud Alaa, praising the player's technical capabilities," and considered him "a real and distinctive addition to the team."
