Barcelona has not had a good start to the CL season.

After a planned win against Viktoria Plzen, they first lost against Bayern Munich 2–0.

And tonight the next loss came against Inter away from home.

Inter started best

Inter were the best in the first half and created the most chances.

But they looked set to go goalless for the second half.

Then Hakan Calhanoglu stepped into the proceedings.

In the 47th minute, he distinctly pushed the ball into the post from 20 meters.

Discussed VAR situation

In the 67th minute, everyone thought that Pedri equalized for Barcelona.

But the VAR room found a hand on Ansu Fati, which made Barcelona coach Xavi really angry.

Something that made referee Slavko Vincic show the yellow card.

In added time, Barcelona had another VAR decision against them, after Dumfries got the ball on their hands in the penalty area.

But no penalty was awarded.

The Catalans were thus eliminated for the second game in a row in the Champions League.
