The Toyota driver Kalle Rovanperä also finished by winning the last stage, the power stage, and thus the second in the table Ott Tänak had no chance to catch up with Rovanperä in the hunt for the WC title despite two races remaining.

Oliver Solberg finished fifth in the competition and also took two nice bonus points on the power stage.

The result is his tangentially second best in the WRC context.
