The Swedish national team midfielder's goal ensured that Milan won the Serie A meeting against Sampdoria 2–1 at home.

But it started like that for the Milan club.

The visitors took the lead already after three minutes of play, but the equalizer came in a flash.

Asllani met a cross from the right inside the penalty area, put his right foot in and it was 1-1 on the scoreboard.

Three minutes into the second half, the Swede struck again as she stayed in front in goal-stealing fashion and scored 2-1 from close range.

Asllani also scored a goal in the last league match when Parma was defeated 4–0 away from home.

In total, the 33-year-old has now scored four goals in Serie A so far.

Milan is fourth in the table after five rounds played, four points behind Inter at the top.
