It was a fast-paced start.

A double expulsion after barely three minutes made it a four-on-four game.

There, Max Lindholm headed in a shot from Arvid Lundberg, 1–0 Skellefteå.

The second period ended goalless, but at the beginning of the third the equalizer came from the home team.

Rasmus Rissanen received an exquisite pass from Leo Carlsson and was able to take aim, scoring 1-1.

Penalties were required

Shortly after the goal, the first goalscorer, Max Lindholm, was sent off for restraint.

In the subsequent power play, Linus Öberg scored 2–1 after a fine pass by Robert Leino.

Örebro looked to be heading for three points against the league leaders, but Max Lindholm put an end to that with his second goal of the evening to make it 2-2, fourth of the season.

The match went to extra time, which also could not separate the teams.

In the shootout, Robert Leino scored the only goal, which was decisive.

The extra point for Örebro.
