He has spent a total of 27 seasons in Timrå as a player, leader and sports director, but before this season, Kent Norberg felt it was time for a new challenge and changed employers to HV71.

Before leaving his office in the NHC Arena, however, he made sure that Timrå would be a team to be reckoned with this season by landing well-deserved new acquisitions such as returnees Anton Lander, Emil Pettersson and Anton Wedin.

However, that trio was not a decisive factor in tonight's match, instead it was other names that did it for the home team.

Above all perhaps Joey Laleggia who opened the game by scoring the 1-0 goal and then followed it up by deciding it in extra time.

- It doesn't matter who scores the goals, but I'm glad I was able to contribute tonight, says Laleggia, who was a little disappointed that Timrå managed to lose a 3-1 lead.

- We would have preferred to win in regular time, but it was nice to win in extra time as well.

One consolation in HV's misery was, however, that they got dividends in the power play after playing three games without scoring a goal in the game, against Timrå they scored three.

Two by Fredrik Forsberg, from his favorite position at the left drawing circle, and one by Eric Martinsson.
