Victory with 3-1 over Norwegian Brann in the return and the matter was done - Rosengård plays group stage in the Champions League.
In the stands at Malmö IP sat a nervous Therese Sjögran and followed the match.
- I'm always nervous, but today was extra.
It means so much to the club and to Swedish football that we go to a group stage and now we are there.
How important was it for you to get to the group stage?
- Very important.
As I have said before, absolutely financially, but also sportingly.
We want to be in the best we can be in as a club team and that is the Champions League.
How much pressure has there been?
- A lot, maybe too much.
We are an association that wants to be the best and be in the space that is the best.
I have to praise the players for being able to live under the pressure that they have done, and manage to deliver today.
I am so proud of them.
- I can't really explain in words what it's like to be in the group stage.
It feels like we've won a quarter-final, right now we're in the semi-finals and just need to move on.
The group stage is drawn on October 3 and then begins on October 19.
Much tougher opposition awaits Rosengård there.
- We already know now that we will have one of the best teams in Europe in the group.
But we are a good team, we are a good squad.
Going to the quarter finals will be tough, if we do that it's a bonus.
