Hamidzic expects Mane to return to his usual form with Bayern Munich
Hasan Salihamidzic, a member of the Bayern Munich Football Club Board of Directors, expressed his support for Senegalese star Sadio Mane, expecting him to return to his usual level.
Mane had made a strong start with Bayern Munich after joining him from Liverpool last June, but he did not manage to score any goal in the team's last five matches.
Bayern Munich, the German champions, have not achieved any victory in their past four league matches.
"Sadio still needs some time, he must adapt to the Bundesliga, and he will," Salihamidzic said in statements to the newspaper "Sport Bild" published today, Wednesday.
"I know what it is like when you move to a new team, in another country, in another city, in another football culture," he added.
He continued, "Sadio is going through this stage, and soon he will have more confidence and we will see this on the field."
