Instead of Europe having a chance to decide the entire Laver Cup in the next match between Novak Djokovic and Auger-Aliassime, the world team has now reduced the total to 7-8 in Europe's favor.

Each match on Sunday gives three points and it is the first to thirteen points that counts.

In the event of a Djokovic victory this afternoon, Europe can decide in the subsequent singles match between the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and the American Frances Tiafoe.

If nothing is decided after that match, the entire Laver Cup will be decided in the final singles match between Norwegian Casper Ruud and American Taylor Fritz
