Brazilian coach Oder Hellmann confirmed that he continues to live in the UAE despite his dismissal from Al Wasl training last June, pointing out that he received many offers to return to training in the Brazilian League, but he currently prefers to continue living in Dubai with his family.

Hellmann told the Brazilian newspaper, UOL, that he had made a plan with his family to continue for another period in the UAE, explaining: "I have received many offers to train in Brazil, but I do not plan to return now."

He added, "I am honored to return to work with Fluminense again, and when Internacional contacted me, I did not have the opportunity to accept the offer at that time."

He talked about the aspects that he liked about the Emirates apart from football, and said: "Acceptance of different cultures is one of the most positive things in the UAE, and the presence of a large number of different nationalities in it explains the reasons for the successful model of the country and the great development it has reached."

He referred to the most prominent challenges he faced, and said: “The high temperatures and playing in this atmosphere was a difficult challenge, while the cultural challenge regarding the month of Ramadan during the season and the players not eating food and drinks for a certain period throughout the day, in addition to the language factor, as I had insistence on Learning English and not using a translator will facilitate my task in communicating with the players.”

It is noteworthy that Auder Hellmann trained Al Wasl in December 2020 until the end of the 2020-2021 season, succeeding Romanian coach Laurent Rejkamp, ​​as the “Emperor” presented good levels under the leadership of the Brazilian coach, which contributed to signing a new contract with him that extends until June 2023, before he left June Past.
