The France team remained in Ligue A (first division) of the League of Nations despite their defeat (2-0) on Sunday in Copenhagen against Denmark, in the final meeting before their World Cup debut in November .

It is the meager consolation of the evening during a meeting suffered most of the time against the Dane.

Global reunion with Denmark...

The Blues lost in quick succession in the first period against Kasper Dolberg and Andreas Skov Olsen (33rd and 39th), and only owe their 3rd place in the group to the victory (3-1) of Croatia in Austria, which condemns the Austrians to relegation.

The French will meet the Danes on November 26 in Doha for their second match of the World Cup.

It was Croatia, finalists of the last World Cup, who qualified for the final four of the League of Nations by dominating Austria 3-1 on Sunday in Vienna.

Held in check at half-time (1-1), the teammates of Luka Modric, scorer from the 6th minute, made the difference in three minutes during the second period thanks to Marko Livaja (69th) and Dejan Lovren (72nd ).

After the Netherlands, Croatia are the second team to qualify for the final four, scheduled for June 2023, in a country to be determined.
