Defender Aaron Herrera scored an amazing goal from a distance for his American football team, "Real Salt Lake", against the Mexican "Atlas" at dawn today, Friday, in the League Cup between the Major League clubs and "League MX" in North America.

And the accounts of the American League, Real Salt Lake Club and other sports accounts on Twitter circulated a video of the goal that Herrera scored by the midfield line from a distance of 70 yards (64 meters).

The American defender received the ball in the middle of his team's court from a pass by one of his fellow defenders, then hinted at the progress of the Atlas goalkeeper to shoot a surprise ball towards the empty goal, and advance to his team in the score with a goal to nothing in the 17th minute of the meeting.

The American League account commented on the video, "A goal from another planet, Herrera benefited from the distance provided by the Atlas goalkeeper and scored one of the best goals this year in the League Cup."
