He never achieved any major success as an active player and was at best ranked 705th in the world.
Rivera accepted money to lose and also offered players money to fold.
The decision means that Rivera is prohibited from being a coach and that he is not allowed to be at tennis tournaments as a spectator regardless of the level of the competition.
He must in no way be involved in tennis.
Nowhere in the judgment is it stated what level of matches Rivera is said to have been involved in rigging or how he feels about the decision.
ITIA writes, among other things, in the judgment: "Rivera failed to engage meaningfully in the disciplinary process."
