At the end of November, the football World Cup will be decided in Qatar.

Sweden has not qualified for the championship.

But the blue-yellow national team will probably have representatives on site.

Union captain Janne Andersson is not part of that group, however.

- I will not go, he says during Friday's press conference before the Nations League meeting with Serbia.

Going with as "few as possible"

He elaborates:

- We'll see if someone else does it.

It is a big arrangement.

If we are going to go, we should go with as few as possible.

I have colleagues with clearer responsibilities regarding watching football.

For them, it is a golden opportunity to check teams that we may face in upcoming qualifiers and trends in the game.

Andersson says that he has made the decision himself.

- If I don't have to go, which I don't have to, I don't go.

It is not yet clear who will go from the Swedish national team.
