On August 7 and 8, Nashville and San Jose will play two regular season games at the O2 Arena in Prague.

However, they seem to be forced to do without their Russian players, due to Russia's war against Ukraine.

- We can confirm that the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs has written a letter to the NHL and pointed out that the Czech Republic, just like all other states in the Schengen area, should not issue any visas to the Russian players who are going to enter our territory, says the country's Deputy Foreign Minister Martin Smolek, according to TSN.

The NHL team's squads are not yet nailed down, but right now Nashville has Russian forward Jakov Trenin and San Jose forward Yevgeny Svetchnikov in the squad.

The defender Nikolaj Chnizjov is also in the squad, but he is injured.
