Last season's gold team Ystads IF fell unexpectedly on Wednesday.
They were big favorites at home against Redbergslid, but ultimately lost 29–33 after a wobble in the second half.
The Gothenburg team's goalkeeper Kristian Zetterlund impressed greatly and Nacor Medina Perez pulled a heavy load in the offense (eight goals).
- In the second half, pretty much everything is right.
We play fantastically, says Zetterlund after the match.
Ystad's Jonathan Svensson is more grim.
- We play too poorly.
We shoot too poorly.
This is not how it should look, he says.
Ystad has now lost the first two matches in the handball league.
