More than three full months before the start of the Zayed Charity Marathon in Alexandria, Egypt, and as soon as the registration window was announced for participation, hundreds of Egyptians from all segments flocked to register their names to participate in the exceptional annual charitable event.
The statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports confirmed that as soon as the ministry announced the opening of registration to participate in the seventh edition of the Zayed Charitable Marathon, hundreds of people from different groups flocked to the registration site to participate in the race and pay the participation fee, as a result of the remarkable success achieved by the previous six editions, and the confidence of Everyone is in the approach, style, and goals of the great annual event, and it can also be considered an Egyptian demonstration of love for the UAE and its founder, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul.
The Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports stated that the announcement of allocating the proceeds of the marathon in the next version to support the Ahl Masr Hospital for victims of accidents and burns, also had an impact on the great turnout from Egyptians, young men and women, and from families who saw the event as an opportunity to express love and appreciation for the common brotherly relations between Emirates and Egypt.
Alexandria Governorate is currently awaiting, with the end of the summer season, a great humanitarian and charitable sports event through a large work system, and a number of volunteers to paint a picture of the joy and beauty of this famous coastal governorate, waiting for the date of December 23, in which more than 30,000 contestants are expected to participate.
