Coach Marc Schneider managed the first win of the season with SpVgg Greuther Fürth under extreme pressure - against the previous leaders SC Paderborn.

Captain Branimir Hrgota was the celebrated player in the Bundesliga 2 on Sunday in the 2nd Bundesliga 2-1 (1-1) at Sportpark Ronhof after his winning goal in the 73rd minute Table place advanced.

Paderborn, on the other hand, fell back to second place behind Hamburger SV after their second defeat of the season.

Defender Damian Michalski headed the Fürth ahead in front of 8,530 spectators (43rd).

Dennis Srbeny equalized for the guests after a fine move (49th).

The people of Fürth acted purposefully and resolutely.

They created a few scoring chances.

Dickson Abiama missed the best with a cracking shot on the bar (20th).

Paderborn's attacking game started slowly.

Class flashed when Srbeny, who came on early on to replace injured striker Felix Platte, equalised.

Fürth's goalkeeper Leon Schaffran had no chance against the low shot in his starting eleven debut.

Hrgota finally rewarded Fürth with his deflected hit from the turn.

After the final whistle, Schneider clenched his fists and hugged his match winner Hrgota.

Regensburg ends victory series

SV Jahn Regensburg has achieved its first win in six games.

Coach Mersad Selimbegovic's team won against FC St. Pauli 2-0 (2-0) and passed Hamburg in the table.

Andreas Albers (8th) took the lead with a penalty kick in front of 12,124 spectators.

Christian Viet, who was under contract with St. Pauli until last year, was brought down in the penalty area.

Shortly before the break it was again the Regensburg duo who raised for the hosts.

After a Viet cross, Albers headed in for a brace (41').

For St. Pauli it was the fifth game in a row without a win, Regensburg achieved their first success since the surprising victory in the first round of the DFB Cup over 1. FC Köln.

Kaiserslautern gets a point outnumbered

The "draw kings" of 1. FC Kaiserslautern fought for the next point despite being outnumbered for a long time.

The newly promoted team came 2-2 (1-2) at 1. FC Heidenheim after falling behind twice and thus remains within striking distance of the top group.

For coach Dirk Schuster's team it was the fourth draw in a row.

The Heidenheimers missed the leap to the relegation place on the 15th anniversary of their coach Frank Schmidt - no other coach in German professional football has been in office longer.

After goals from Jan-Niklas Beste (17th) and Marnon Busch (44th), Terrence Boyd (20th/60th) brought the Palatinate back twice.

FCK goalkeeper Andreas Luthe was sent off after an emergency brake (41').

After a hesitant start, the game only became more intense after the two goals - with chances here and there.

Before the break, Luthe came too late in running out against Beste and saw the red card after video evidence, Busch converted the free kick that was due, which is worth seeing.

Outnumbered and with the lead behind them, Heidenheim controlled what happened after the break, but lacked the urge to go forward.

Boyd completed an FCK counterattack for a somewhat surprising equaliser.
