The Korean youth baseball team won the 30th Under-18 Baseball World Cup after beating Taiwan and tied for first place in the Super Round.



The Korean national team, led by coach Jae-ho Choi, defeated Taiwan 3-2 in the second match of the World Baseball Softball Federation Baseball World Cup Super Round held at Lecom Park, Bradenton, Florida, USA.



Hwang Jun-seo, the youngest member of the national team who started as a Korean starter, blocked 5 innings with 2 hits and 6 strikeouts.



Korea will play their last Super Round match against Mexico on the 18th.
