Häcken, in the Allsvenskan series lead before this weekend's round, was visited by third-placed Hammarby.

Two teams fighting for the gold.

Hammarby started the match best and took an early lead through Gustav Ludwigson.

The striker stayed in front of a pass in the penalty area in the tenth minute of the match and steered the ball in to make it 1-0 for the away team.

A cavalcade of scoring chances for Häcken

After just over half an hour of play, it was close to an equaliser.

Häcken's Ibrahim Sadiq got around on the left wing and sent a finish that hit the crossbar.

Just six minutes later came the next goal.

Valgeir Fridriksson whipped in a pass from the left and Simon Gustafsson responded with a heavy shot that hit the crossbar - again.

Shortly after, Häcken received a free kick in a good position.

Even Hovland reached the highest and headed the ball into the outside of the post.

Injury concern for Bajen

In the second half, Hammarby went on a rampage.

Midfielder Darijan Bojanic was sidelined and forced into a substitution.

Alper Demirol replaced him.

In the 90th minute of the match, the home team finally equalised.

Hammarby defender Nathaniel Adjei scored an own goal from a cross from Häcken – a nightmarish debut for the young defender who was afterwards comforted by his teammates.

During the match, the home team's Mikkel Rygaard and Samuel Gustafsson were cautioned.

This means they miss the upcoming match against Varberg after the national team break.

Hammarby will face Malmö in the next match.
