Linköping has had a difficult pre-season with some losses and Örebro has not been convincing in the training matches either.

But on Saturday night, the gang could finally celebrate a victory directly in the premiere in front of a packed and boiling arena.

Örebro came out at flying speed and had a dream start in the prestigious meeting.

Already after just over a minute, Emil Larsson scored the first goal directly after a draw.

But after a quarter of an hour, Christoffer Ehn equalized when he clinically placed the puck in the crossbar past goalkeeper Jhonas Enroth.

"Clever drawing"

- It's a neat drawing, then I'm in the right place.

Nice start, one must say, Emil Larsson told C More after the first period.

- Great fun to be up and running again.

There is a good atmosphere in the arena and a great pace, he added.

But two minutes into the second period, the visitors had turned the game around when the Linköping product and talent Filip Bystedt made it 2-1 via the post in a power play.

- I was a little unsure if the puck was in, but of course it was nice to see that it was a goal.

My goal is to show myself, get as much ice time as possible, Bystedt told C More after the second period.

But after the middle period, it was instead Örebro's turn to turn the tide.

The super talent goalscorer

Twelve minutes into the third period, Örebro's 17-year-old super talent Leo Carlsson stepped forward on the power play and scored a spot-kick for 2-2 behind goalkeeper Marcus Högberg - in front of the talent scouts in the stands.

And Örebro center Robert Leino then decided in overtime when he pushed the puck into the roof of the net.
