The Football Association holds the draw for the second and third division league competitions

Today, at its headquarters in Dubai, the Emirates Football Association conducted a draw for the fourth edition of the Second Division League competition, and the second edition of the Third Division League competition for the 2022-2023 sports season, in the presence of the concerned federation departments, and with the participation of team representatives through the official channel of the Football Association on YouTube.

12 teams are participating in the second division league this season.

The draw resulted in strong confrontations in the first week of the competition, where Al-Mouj meets Al-Ettifaq, Gulf United, LaLiga, United, Atletico Arabia, United Sport, Liwa, Laval United, Al-Hilal United, Fleetwood United and Regional.

The competition will start on the eighth of next October, with a full league system of two rounds, and the two teams that ranked first and second qualify for the first division competition, while the two last places are relegated to the ranks of the third division.

16 teams will participate in the second edition of the Third Division League, and it will start on the 14th of next October. The matches of the first week combine sports support with Green Heroes, Inter City with The Football Academy, Elite Falcon with Knights of Hispania, and cities with Al Dhahirah. For the first group, he will meet in the second group competitions, Al-Nojoom, Al-Wathba, Al-Gharbia, Sporting, Royal, Sport FC, Wood Gardens Unit and AGF.


The matches of the first round of the "third" league will be played in a home and away system, with the first three teams from each group qualifying after the matches of this round to qualify for the second round.

The second round of the competition will be held with the participation of 6 teams, and in a two-round league system, the teams that finish in the first four places qualify for the second division competition for the next season.
