The national polity and the National Athletic Meet were held in Utsunomiya City, where Sayaka Mikami, representing Tottori Prefecture, won the final of the adult women's board diving event with a personal best.

The National Athletic Meet, which will be held for the first time in three years due to the influence of the new coronavirus, will be held as a "pre-event competition" from the 10th of this month before the opening on the 1st of next month.

On the 15th, the final day of diving was held in Utsunomiya City, and Mikami participated in the final of the adult women's board diving as a representative of Tottori Prefecture.

Mikami, who was 7th in this event at this year's World Championships, took a step backwards in the 4th time he was at the top and decided exactly "205B" to turn backwards twice and a half, marking 79.50, the last. For the fifth time, I marked 79.90 with "5154B", which took off forward and twisted twice and turned forward two and a half times.

As a result, Enomoto won the championship with a total of 377.85, which improved his personal best by about 10 points, with a difference of more than 50 points from the second place.

Mikami said, "I couldn't show all my strength, but I'm relieved that I won. I got good marks, but the only good thing was the fourth performance. Other than that, I could have done more, so it's frustrating." I was not satisfied with my personal best.

On top of that, he was looking ahead, saying, "If we don't control the splash a little more when entering the water, we won't be able to beat the world's top competitors, so we want to master a stable takeoff and entry into the water without splashing."
