NPB = Nippon Professional Baseball has revised its guidelines on the new coronavirus, and each team has received confirmation from the local government about vocal support at the stadium, and the accommodation rate limited to the area where the voice is spoken is 50%. If you do, you will be recognized.

This was announced by Atsushi Ihara, secretary general of NPB on the 13th.

Until now, when cheering aloud, it was required to keep the spectator capacity to 50% of the entire stadium in line with the government's basic response policy.

Due to the government's review of the policy, NPB revised the guidelines on the new coronavirus on the 12th, and each team can now set up an area where they can speak if they meet the conditions.

Specifically, after receiving confirmation from the local government regarding safety measures, etc., it is required to increase the accommodation rate to 50% only in areas where people can speak.

On the other hand, 100% accommodation is possible in other areas.

Secretary General Ihara said, "I don't know which team will decide how, so everything will be decided based on the results of discussions with local governments. At the moment, there is no report that vocal support will be implemented."
