After Rosengård's 2-0 loss against Hammarby, Linköping had a golden opportunity to get closer in the table before today's meeting with Eskilstuna.

But at halftime it didn't look good at all, a 2-1 deficit after Eskilstuna's two-goal shooter Noor Eckhoff, among other things, screwed in a corner.

- I was very happy, I felt that I got a good hit with a nice screw, it was nice to see the ball go in, Eckhoff told Viaplay at halftime.

But then the fun was over for Eckhoff and Eskilstuna.

First, Therese Simonsson equalized just over five minutes into the second half and sent the shooting league leader Amalie Vangsgaard three goals in just under 20 minutes of play.

- I don't remember how all the goals went, to be honest, but it's a nice feeling when the ball goes in, says Vangsgaard, who also scored a headed goal in the first half.

With the victory, there is now only two points between Linköping and league leader Rosengård.

- We need to focus on ourselves, if we continue to play well we will pick up our points, we just have to hope that Rosengård loses a few, says Vangsgaard, who now leads the scoring league with a four-goal margin down to runner-up Evelyne Viens.
