Tilda Månsson's recent breakthrough is a wonderful Norway story: the competition in Bergen was only her second at senior level, and she complemented the junior WC gold from June with an even bigger scalp.

- I didn't think I had such a good sprint, but I put my head out a lot and felt that I can take it.

So it's more head than bones?

- Yes, I think that was the case there.

Where does it come from?

- I have built up a goal, where I want to get to, and then I put my head down.

When SVT Sport met her at her home in Uppland's Väsby, she was training cycling ahead of the season's last World Cup in the Czech Republic.

Then the season is over, and the future can be built with tough training.

The swimming needs to be improved, to provide a better starting position for the final run of the triathlon, which is Tilda Månsson's great strength.

- I have the 2028 Olympics as my main focus, but hope to be there in 2024 as well, although without a medal goal, says Tilda Månsson.
