Soccer J1's Cerezo Osaka invited Ukrainian people who were evacuated to Osaka and Sakai following the military invasion by Russia to their home game held on the night of the 10th.

This initiative was realized through the cooperation of Cerezo, which was consulted by the city of Sakai, asking if it would be possible to create fun memories for the people living as evacuees.



On the night of the 10th, in the match against Sagan Tosu held at Yodokou Sakura Stadium in Osaka City, we supported Ukrainian people who had evacuated to their hometowns of Osaka City and Sakai City and accepted them. 63 of those who wanted to watch the game were invited.



Visitors sat in the backstand with their family and friends and enjoyed watching the soccer game wearing the Cerezo uniforms that were given to them.



A Cerezo representative said it was the first J-League club to invite people who had evacuated to Japan from Ukraine to the stadium.



A woman who evacuated to Osaka with her newborn daughter in April this year said, "I never thought I would be invited, so I am really grateful. I want to make it a good memory."

Fundraising activities will also be held at the stadium, and the donations will be used for people who have evacuated from Ukraine through the cities of Osaka and Sakai.
