A video clip of an Irish football club participating in the European Football Conference has been shown mocking the late British Queen Elizabeth II;
It was widely popular on the platforms, as about 10 million people watched it, while the club and the Irish Federation condemned these chants.
The video clip was filmed for the fans during the match between Shamrock Rovers of Ireland against Jorgorden of Sweden in the European Conference League, which was held on Thursday evening and ended in a goalless draw.

During the meeting, a number of Shamrock fans chanted against the Queen, as their voices rose with chants of "Lizzie in the Box", mocking the death of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II.
The video received wide interaction and interest from Irish platform users, as most of them participated in mocking the Queen as part of a wide campaign on the platforms.
The tweeters interacted among several hashtags, as the followers shared clips and sarcastic comments, and celebrated the death of the queen.
This is due to differences between the Irish and Britain, as the wars between them stretched for decades, and Ireland witnessed many acts of violence by the British army, which cast a shadow on the Irish platforms after the death of the Queen.

For his part, Shamrock Rovers rejected the chants and considered them unacceptable and contrary to the values represented by the club, and stressed that those who were found to be involved in this behavior will be held accountable and prevented from entering the matches, and the Irish Federation condemned this behavior.
