This is the sentence to which a 40-year-old man was sentenced Friday in Lille, in immediate appearance.

According to

La Voix du Nord

, the 40-year-old was found guilty of having stolen some 200,000 euros worth of jewelry from Paulo Fonseca, the coach of Losc, and his wife.

The facts date back to August 8, when the Portuguese, freshly inducted, and his Ukrainian wife were still residing in a hotel in downtown Lille, the time to find a house.

A ring is missing

Investigators traced the thief to his home in Ile-de-France, where he tried to get rid of the loot, including Rolex watches and Cartier jewelry, through the window.

The Fonseca spouses recovered everything, except a ring worth 15,500 euros.
