When Rosa Kafaji left AIK for Häcken last winter, she became the most expensive female transfer in Sweden of all time.

But shortly afterwards the accident happened and she broke her leg in her debut in a training match against Lidköping.

She had not played since then, but when Häcken beat Umeå 5-0 tonight, she was substituted for Pauline Hammarlund in the 79th minute.

The smile on Kafaji's lips made it obvious that she had been longing.

- It was a lot of fun, of course.

It's been eight long months.

It has been up and down.

I wasn't really going to play this match, so I didn't think I would get in, she says.

How did it feel?

- I feel good, but a bit like a dizzy hen in the game.

It was noticed that I have not played a match.

Hopefully I'll get into it more and more.

How have the eight months been?

-

Sometimes I have had good days and sometimes bad days.

But it's been a journey and I'm glad I got through it.

The hardest part has been sitting and watching matches instead of being there myself.

What is the plan going forward?

- I will give my all in all training sessions and hopefully fight my way into the starting eleven.

Running intervals isn't the same thing as a match, but I'm sure I'll get into it.

Rosa Kafaji scored three women's Swedish goals for AIK last season.
