Suspension of the penalty for suspending the Saudi Federation player Hamdallah

Al-Ittihad club, competing in the Saudi Professional Football League, announced today, Wednesday, that the Sports Arbitration Center decided to suspend a suspension penalty imposed on Moroccan striker Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah, after a complaint from Al-Nasr Club against its former striker and Al-Ittihad.

Al-Ittihad club said in a statement on Twitter, “The club received today a letter from the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center stating that the penalty issued by the Professional Committee in the Saudi Football Association against the first team player, Captain Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah, has been suspended. Thus, the player has the right to participate with the team starting from the next match.” .

On August 2, the Saudi Football Federation’s Disciplinary Committee decided to ban Moroccan Hamdallah for four months and fine him 300,000 riyals ($80,000).

Al-Nasr had filed a lawsuit against Al-Ittihad and its attacker, Hamdallah, regarding the illegality of the 31-year-old striker's negotiation with Al-Ittihad.

The committee also decided to suspend Hamed Al-Balawi, Executive Director of Football at Al-Ittihad Club for a period of six months, starting from the date of the decision, with a fine of 300,000 riyals on him.

And it was decided to suspend Mishaal Al-Saeed, director of the first team in the Federation, for a period of three months, and to deprive the club called the Brigadier from registering new players for one period, starting from the next registration period, and to impose a fine of 500,000 riyals on the club, which is based in the city of Jeddah.

The committee clarified at the time that the decisions issued against Al-Ittihad Club are subject to appeal before the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center.
